Pure Collagen Powder Hydrolysed Bovine Peptides Beauty Hair Skin Benefits Bones & Tendons & Ligaments Premium Bovine Collagen Peptides Powder UK

Benefits:

  • WHAT IS COLLAGEN? Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body. Collagen is a protein that’s behind making all your wellness dreams come true! and is found primarily in the bones, skin, tendons and ligaments. Collagen is a major component of your skin. Our body produces collagen but as we age, collagen production in the body decreases. This is why it is important to maintain a diet rich in collagen. Collagen may be obtained from animal or plant food sources or through supplementation.
  • WHY TAKE COLLAGEN? Often added to cosmetics, Collagen is the main structural protein found in connective tissue and is the most abundant protein in the human body. It is regarded as a key building block of the human body and is used in the formation and support of bones, ligaments, tendons and other key strength-giving components.
  • BENEFITS: Bovine Collagen is a form of collagen that comes from bovine animals. Supplementing with bovine collagen can provide a range of health benefits for the skin, hair, bones, tendons, ligaments & more. Additionally, taking collagen supplements may promote the production of other proteins that help structure your skin, including elastin & fibrillin. Collagen supplements have been attributed to their ability to stimulate your body to produce collagen on its own.
  • FOR SKIN HEALTH: It plays a role in strengthening skin, As you age, your body produces less collagen, leading to dry skin & the formation of wrinkles. However, several studies have shown that collagen peptides or supplements containing collagen may help of your skin.
  • FOR HAIR, BONE, TENDONS & LIGAMENTS HEALTH: Collagen may help strengthen and stimulate the growth of hair. Taking collagen may increase the strength of your hair by preventing brittleness. Additionally, it may stimulate your hair to grow longer Trusted Source. Collagen, the most abundant protein in the body is a key component of connecting tissues found in our bones, tendons and ligaments & provides the structural framework that holds everything together.

Description:

Making up 30% of the total protein, collagen is the most important protein found in the body. Collagen is a family of related proteins, genetically different, which aids in structuring connective tissues within the extracellular matrix. Currently, up to 27 different types of collagen have been identified but type I, II and III collagens are the most abundant in the body. Supplementing with collagen is essential in maintaining healthy conditions.

COLLAGEN TYPES

a. Type I collagen Type I collagen can be found primarily in connective tissues such as skin, bone, and tendons. The synthesis of type I collagen occurs on the fibroblasts and osteoblasts. The morphology of this type of collagen is formed by three polypeptide chains, compounding fibers and bundles of collagen. The type I collagen is responsible not just for maintaining the structural integrity of the tissues but also keeping active participation in the functionality of these same tissues of all vertebrates. Type I hydrolyzed collagen is the most available in the market.

b. Type II collagen Type II collagen can be found exclusively in cartilage tissue and present in properly hydrated joints. Its composition allows the high resistance, elasticity and compressibility of the joint cartilage which dampens and dissipates incoming forces, reducing friction. Its synthesis occurs on the chondroblasts. Morphologically, it is virtually impossible to differentiate between type I and type II collagen because they are both formed by three polypeptide chains. Its benefits are focused on joint and cartilage health. However, due to the low availability, the different extraction process, and the molecular differences within its composition, the daily-recommended dosage is lower (about 2g/day), thus increasing the cost of type II collagen.

c. Type III collagen Presence of type III collagen is strongly dependent on age: very young skin can contain up to 50%, but over the course of time this is reduced to 5 to 10%. The other collagen types are present in lower amounts and are mostly organ-specific. Because of its localization in connective tissue, this type of collagen can be separately extracted, or together with type I collagen. This blend has the same health benefits as type I collagen on its own.

d. Our Collagen We produce the type I and III collagen, that are the most abundant, and the most currently sold. Because it is easy to use, prepare, and contributes to a better quality of life, type I and III collagen are widely used in a large variety of products. This document advises that the raw materials used in the production of our Hydrolyzed Bovine collagen are sourced exclusively in Brazil. The raw material undergoes an acid treatment and hydrolysis process that extracts collagen from the hides of the Bovine (sections behind the belly, legs, and feet) and comes from animals that were exclusively born and raised in Brazilian territory.
